Varterm TTS is in the editor Extensions panel
Varterm TTS is in the editor store now. You do not need a manual .vsix for the usual install.
- Open Extensions (
Cmd+Shift+X/Ctrl+Shift+X). - Search Varterm TTS.
- Install. Reload if the editor asks.
Turn on Agent Auto-read in the status bar and finished replies play while you keep working. Run a fleet of Cursor windows — one user install covers all of them and only the focused window speaks, so nothing echoes. While it plays: play / pause, stop, and jump through parts. You can also run Varterm: Read Editor/Selection Aloud or Varterm: Read Clipboard Aloud.
- Cursor uses Open VSX.
- VS Code can use the Marketplace listing or the same Extensions search.
- Want a file? GitHub Release v0.1.38 has the
.vsix.
Setup notes live on the extensions page.
